I was ordained in the Diocese of Newcastle in 2000 and served as an assistant in Gosford and Taree parishes, before being inducted priest in charge of the Parish of Merriwa in 2002. After five years rural ministry experience I was commissioned Rector of East Maitland.
From 2012 to 2014, I served as Associate Chaplain at the Mission to Seafarers in Newcastle. In 2014, I returned to Parish ministry on the beautiful central coast to serve as Rector of Woy Woy. In 2016, I graduated with a Master of Theology degree from Charles Sturt University, which I intend to invest within the life of our church through preaching and teaching.
I am married to Alex and have three step children.
Greetings my name is Peter Mumford and I have the privilege of being the Associate Priest. I joined the Staff when The Revd Penny Jones in 2007 asked me to come and help with a Mid Week Service, I had recently retired and agreed to work two days a week for a trial period of twelve weeks, I am still here and have enjoyed my ministry very much. Before I retired I had the honour to serve as the first full time Anglican Chaplain to the NSW Police Force. During my ministry I served as an Army Reserve Chaplain, honorary priest in Muswellbrook, assistant in Taree and Rector of the Parishes of Murrurundi and Beresfield.
Hello! I’m Anthea Haughain and I have the privilege of being the Children and Family worker.
I’m married to Anthony and we consider ourselves blessed to be living on the beautiful Central Coast with our two growing kids.
Growing up in Northern Ireland I had a lot of fun at our church. Singing and enthusiastically doing the actions to the kids’ songs and listening to the bible stories are happy memories. As is the feeling of acceptance and feeling an important part of the church family.
