At confirmation candidates reaffirm the promises made at their baptism. The Bishop lays his hands on their head a prays for the in-filling of the Holy Spirit. Candidates for Confirmation must be in at least the second year of High School, and are expected to undergo a period of preparation, consisting of classes or discussion groups suited to their age and level of understanding. Confirmation services are usually held once a year and our Parish Office can usually advise you of the date of the next one.
